Daily Discovery #72: Lists

Get yourself a cup of tea and block the world out for four minutes with this soothing beauty by LISTS.

Lists, from Edinburgh, creates incredible peaceful, bare, and raw folk music. It’s like a  30 minute yoga class through your speakers. No matter your mood when you begin listening to Autumn, you’ll be calm by the end. Just a gentle warning; his whispery soft vocals are enough to draw a tear if you’re feeling down.

The soft acoustic guitar is plucked so gently and matched with twinkling percussion and strings that engulf you into the warmth of the track. It’s freezing outside. We are well and truly into Autumn (what really feels the depths of winter…) and so this track is a little bit of what we all need. A hug to ease the transition.

Lists’ last release, Millie & Ivor, was equally as breathtaking. Slow and bare piano complimented his whispering and soft vocals. Another snug track. Take a listen:

If you’re ever feeling stressed, tense or just need a little calming down…you know where to come.
